Denmark vs Portugal

Denmark stunned the Dutch in their opener, and if they can back the win up with a result against Portugal then progression into the knock out rounds will become a very probable reality for the group outsiders. Michael Krohn-Dehli was superb through out the match, and backed up his brilliant performance with a priceless winner. The two sides met in qualifying, with both side winning one game each; however the pressure will all be on the Portuguese following their opening day defeat.

Stephan Anderson is 76/25 with Betfair to keep another clean sheet
Portugal defended well for the most part of the Germany game, with the likes of Mesut Ozil and co restricted to long range efforts; however their one lapse in concentration resulted in the winner. Portugal now need to get their tournament back on track, whilst defeat would all but eliminate the 2004 finalists. Paulo Bento's side lack a real world class out and out centre forward, so the pressure lays heavily on Cristiano Ronaldo's shoulders to mirror his Real Madrid form for his country.

Back Cristiano Ronaldo to score in his third European Championships. He's 11/2 with Stan James to score the first goal

Portugal need to win this game to realistically have any chance of qualifying out of the group of death, and I feel they will just edge a close game.

Netherlands vs Germany

The Dutch were incredibly wasteful in their opener and now they need a minimum of four points from their next two games to progress. Of those two games, their first is against the now joint favourites Germany, whom which the duo have a massive rivalry. These two met at Euro 2004 and the Dutch deserved more then the point they got; however here they might need more.

Sneijder is 5/1 with William Hill to score anytime

The Germans weren't at their brilliant best against Portugal; however the showed a ruthless streak that bodes well in tournament football. Victory for Joachim Low's side and they'll all but ensure progression into the next round, whilst avoiding defeat would go along way to making sure qualification moves ever closer.

Fancy a repeat? Gomez first goalscorer in a 1-0 win is 35/1 with BetVictor

Like the day's first match, the pressure is heavily on the side who lost their opener, meaning Holland have to get something from the game, which I think they will in the form of a draw.

Prediction: Holland 1 Germany 1 - 6/1 with William Hill - Lose a fiver
